Following the advice from the Government regarding social gatherings during the present crisis, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have advised that all public acts of worship cease immediately (17/03/2020). Consequently there will be no public celebrations of the Holy Eucharist at St Annes Parish Church for the foreseeable future.

Despite the current situation, the worship life of the Church goes on in the background. Father David and Father Aiden will continue to say Morning and Evening Prayer each day. If you have any prayer requests please contact us:

Although the Church is closed for public worship it is open for PRIVATE PRAYER daily between 3pm and 5pm. Please come along, light a candle and pour out your heart to God. Please remember to keep your distance from anyone else present. After the Prime Minister's announcement on 23/03/20 this is no longer available.

Please visit the Church Facebook page for more updates and there you will also find live streams of various Church services. You do not have to belong to Facebook to view these services. Click on the link below.
