Christmas Tree Festival 2022

Our annual Charity Christmas Tree Festival is once again taking place in December. This year it lasts from Saturday 10th December until Saturday 17th December.

There will be over twenty trees on display, sponsored by members of the congregation and by many local organisations, and each tree will be dedicated to a charity – local, national or international.

The Church will be open on these days from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and admission is free.

Among the attractions will be:

  • Refreshments, including tea, coffee, mince pies and cakes
  • Memorial Trees
  • Cake Stall
  • Craft Stall
  • Choc-a-bola
  • Bottle Stall
  • Prize Quiz
  • Grand Draw (with a first prize of £150)

The Church pews will also be decorated with wreaths, dedicated to the memory of loved ones. If you wish to sponsor a wreath you may do so for a donation of £10. Please download a form and return it to the Parish Office.

To end the week, on Saturday 17th December, from 4pm to 5pm, there will be a concert of Christmas music, given by The Lidun Singers, under the leadership of Alistair MacKenzie. Tickets cost £10 and will include refreshments; there is no charge for children under 16.

Please come and support this charity event and bring your friends. Everybody is most welcome.
