‘The Crucifixion’ by Sir John Stainer (1840 – 1901) is a beautiful composition for choir, two soloists and organ accompaniment. ‘The Crucifixion’ includes five hymns for congregational or audience participation; these rank amongst the finest of their genre.
Our aim is to raise as many funds as possible for Save the Children by involving as many people as we can to sing this wonderful work. We also warmly invite everybody who might not wish to participate, to hear our performance in Church on Sunday 17th March 2024 at 7.00 pm.
Choristers are asked to donate £10, members of the audience £5.
