Church Service Times
There are services in St Annes Parish Church every day of the week. The usual service times are listed below. Any changes will be listed here.
Following the easing of restrictions the government is allowing Churches to open again for public worship. Accordingly we shall resume worship in our Church from Sunday 5th July. However there are many changes that we have had to make to ensure that everybody is kept ‘Covid-19 safe’. 8am Said Eucharist : Traditional Prayer Book language
10.30am Parish Sung Eucharist : Modern Language with full choir. All welcome, especially families.
Special children’s activities take place on most Sundays (when there is not a Parade Service, which is usually the third Sunday of the month). They start at 10.15am in Parish Rooms (over the road) and join the service in Church later. Toilets (including ones with disabled access) & baby changing facilities are available both in the Parish Rooms and in Church. This service is normally followed by coffee in the Church or the Parish Rooms.
6.30pm Sung Evensong (1st and 3rd Sunday): Traditional Prayer Book service with full choir.
6.30pm Evening Prayer (other Sundays)
12 noon Eucharist : Modern language
10.30am Eucharist : Traditional Prayer Book language : service usually followed by coffee in Church.
9am Eucharist: Modern language
6.45pm Eucharist : Modern language
9.05am Eucharist: Modern language
10am-noon : Friday Drop-in with Fr Aiden : Parish Rooms
Ideal for prayer, discussion, asking questions or pastoral support.
9.30am Eucharist : Modern language :
1st Saturday : Monthly Requiem.
2nd Saturday : Healing Eucharist, with laying on of hands and anointing.
3rd Saturday : Praying for Peace.
Last Saturday: Our Lady of Walsingham.
Service usually followed by coffee in Church.
HOME & HOSPITAL COMMUNION can be arranged – please contact the Vicar or the Parish Office .
MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION (CONFESSION) can be arranged with the Vicar.
