Church Service Times

There are services in St Annes Parish Church every day of the week. The usual service times are listed below.  Any changes will be listed here.

During the pandemic services have been curtailed. The Church is open but for details of services see the Coronavirus page.


Usual Services

SUNDAY

8am Said Eucharist : Traditional Prayer Book language

10.30am Parish Sung Eucharist : Modern Language with full choir. All welcome, especially families.

Details of worship for children on Sundays can be found on the Children page. Toilets (including ones with disabled access) & baby changing facilities are available both in the Parish Rooms and in Church. This service is normally followed by coffee in the Church or the Parish Rooms.

6.30pm Sung Evensong (1st and 3rd Sunday): Traditional Prayer Book service with full choir.
6.30pm Evening Prayer (other Sundays)

MONDAY

12 noon Eucharist : Modern language

TUESDAY

10.30am Eucharist : Traditional Prayer Book language : service usually followed by coffee in Church.

WEDNESDAY

9am Eucharist: Modern language

THURSDAY

6.45pm Eucharist : Modern language

SATURDAY

9.30am Eucharist :  Modern language :

  • 1st Saturday  :  Monthly Requiem.

  • 2nd Saturday :  Healing Eucharist, with laying on of hands and anointing.

  • 3rd Saturday :   Praying for Peace.

  • Last Saturday:  Our Lady of Walsingham.

Service usually followed by coffee in Church. 

HOME & HOSPITAL COMMUNION can be arranged – please contact the Vicar or the Parish Office .

MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION (CONFESSION) can be arranged with the Vicar.
