Christmas Tree Festival 2023
Images from previous Tree Festivals
Our annual Charity Christmas Tree Festival is once again taking place in December. This year it lasts from Saturday 9th December until Saturday 16th December.
There will be over twenty trees on display, sponsored by members of the congregation and by many local organisations, and each tree will be dedicated to a charity – local, national or international.
The Church will be open on these days from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and admission is free.
Among the attractions will be:
- Refreshments, including tea, coffee and mince pies
- Memorial Trees
- Cake Stall
- Craft Stall
- Choc-a-bola
- Bottle Stall
- Prize Quiz
- Grand Draw (with a first prize of £150)
The Church pews will also be decorated with wreaths, dedicated to the memory of loved ones. If you wish to sponsor a wreath you may do so for a donation of £12. Please download a form and return it to the Parish Office.
During the festival there will be two concerts. On Saturday 9th December, at 7 pm in church, we will be hosting the Lytham Community Choir. Tickets cost £10 and will include refreshments; there is no charge for children under 18.
To end the week, on Saturday 16th December, at 7 pm in church, there will be a concert of Christmas music, given by the Lidun Singers, under the leadership of Alistair MacKenzie. Again tickets cost £10, including refreshments, with no charge for children under £18.
Please come and support these charity events and bring your friends. Eveybody is most welcome.
