Throughout the ages it has been the custom of the church to endeavour to provide support for those who live in our parishes and this vital aspect of Christian love wherein we reflect our Saviour’s love for our community is even more important during this time of pandemic. Lock down, reduced incomes, job losses and changed circumstances mean that some of our near neighbours and families can find themselves in desperate situations and in some cases those who could only just manage, now cannot.
How can I contribute?
Non perishable food can be brought and placed in a basket at the back of church. Gifts will be donated to needy families at our Church school and the local food bank.
