It was with great sadness that the country heard today that HM Queen Elizabeth II had died. On her 21st birthday she said, “I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service”, and she was true to her word.

The church will be open from 8.30 am tomorrow (Friday) and a Book of Condolence will be available to sign. The bells fully muffled will ring at noon.
The church will be open from 9 am until 6 pm on Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th, from 11 am until 4 pm on Thursday 15th, and from 1 pm until 5 pm on Friday 16th – an opportunity to come and pray, sign the Book of Condolence, and light a candle.
