The War Memorial Trail in the Churchyard comprises 15 memorials to those who gave their lives in the Second World War. Each memorial gravestone is marked with a marker board with information about the man and his background and the circumstances of his death. The trail is accessible daily in the churchyard from VJ Day and will be in place until Remembrance Sunday. The church bells will also be rung at 11am on VJ Day to honour those who made the final sacrifice for our freedom. More details may be found on the War Memorial Trail page.
