The Church is open for public worship

The Church is open for Holy Eucharist on most days. Some people may be fearful about coming to Church. Many precautions have been put in place to keep worshippers safe and a short video filmed at church on this matter can be viewed here, please simply click on the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ctku0Bp2GV4

We would do well also to heed words from the First Letter of Saint Peter, ‘Be on the alert! Wake up! Your enemy the Devil, like a roaring lion, growls around looking for someone to devour’. He knows he has been successful, not when people self-isolate at home for safety sake, but when people say to themselves, ‘I am not going to Church anymore’.

If you are at all anxious about coming to church to worship please give me, Father David, a ring. I recommend coming to a weekday Mass first because the service is shorter and fewer people attend. In fact, it would be really helpful if a few more people came at 9.00 am. on Wednesday mornings.
